Saturday Soccer for children 8-12 years is all about fun and players experiencing what a soccer match is all about.
Every Saturday, boys and girls of all abilities aged 8-12 can play actual matches for their allocated team for the season in the Saturday Soccer League with InterSoccer coaches on hand to offer help and advice in a safe and fun environment.
Learn to warm up like the professionals, work on skills and technique, followed by small sided matches encouraging more touches for each player with teams split into groups of age and ability. The matches will also help players learn about the rules of the game, tactics, sportsmanship and fair play.
Each team will be allocated a fantastic InterSoccer team kit for the season and no matter what the position of the team on the last Saturday, all participants will receive an InterSoccer medal.
A new Soccer League will be formed each school term with participants joining their new teammates where they can start to feel part of a soccer team. However we need your help in committing to Saturday Soccer each week and spreading the word. Rules and Regulations will be provided for the Soccer League before the start of the season.
InterSoccer is looking for Parent & Student to help assist InterSoccer in the running of the Saturday mornings. If you can commit to helping for most of the season please contact Steve Long detailing the event you are interested in and further information about yourself.
