12/03/2010 - Matt Tembo - Rest in Peace

Matt Tembo It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Matt Tembo one of our former Football Coaches whilst studying in America.

He spent two years with InterSoccer during which time we appreciated all of his qualities.

He loved his sports especially football and his support for his favourite football team Chelsea was always strong.

He was very popular with the children and gained the affections of all who came in contact with him.

Our thoughts and sympathy go out to his family at this very sad and difficult time.

He will be a tragic loss to everyone and will be sadly missed by all at InterSoccer.

01/03/2010 - Spring & Summer & Weekend Courses - Ready to Book!

Book online is now open for all courses during the Spring and Summer Term for Boys and Girls from 3 to 13 years old. Whether beginnner or club player there is space for everyone on the fun courses running in various Swiss cities including Geneva, Versoix, Gland, Lausanne, Vevey. Zug and Zurich will also have dates announced soon.

Mini Soccer Courses for 3-6 year olds, After School courses for 5 to 13 year olds, specialist courses for Goalkeepers and Girls are all available.

For all courses you can come and try out for free in the first 2 weeks if you haven’t tried InterSoccer before, however the sooner you reserve your place via the Book Online the sooner your place is secured. If you miss the first few sessions, don’t worry you can still pay pitchside if places.

01/03/2010 - Easter Holiday Camps – Book Now!

Easter Camps are now ready to Book Online ! We are visiting Bern , Basel, Founex, Geneva, Vevey, Lausanne, Zug and Zurich during the Easter break. We will also be staging a Spring Break Camp in Zurich on the week 26 April.

Easter Day Camps will run on week 29 March in Founex, Zurich and Lausanne and week 6 April in Bern, Basel, Founex, Geneva, Vevey, Zug, Zurich. Supervised drop off is possible from 0900, camp finishing at 1500, and you can choose which days you do, so your child could do 1,2, or even 3 or more days.

There will also be Easter Mini Camps for morning only in most regions, this is for 4 to 5 year olds with courses running from 10h-12h.

To secure place book via the Book Online section on the website which closes at 1800 the day before each day. For those who miss the deadline, don’t worry, you can still pay pitchside for a slightly higher price.

01/03/2010 - Saturday & Sunday Courses – Ready to Book!

For those who want to play on the weekend there are various courses available on a Saturday in Founex and Sunday in Zug, both ready for booking now on our Book Online.

Every Saturday at la Chataineraie School, Founex there is Fun Footy for 5 to 7 year olds which is all about fun learning and improving new skills and increasing knowledge by playing fun games and matches. For 8 to 12s there is the Saturday Soccer League where players are put in to a team and play competitive matches for the whole season.

In Zug (FC Hunenberg) we will now have Mini Soccer every Saturday morning for 3 to 5s and Sunday Soccer for 6 to 12s where there is coaching and a lot of emphasis on playing matches, especially for the older children.

Great news, there are Indoor Holiday Camps at La Chataigneraie International School, Founex for boys and girls of all abilities from 5-13 years and at Bout du Monde, Vessy (Geneva) in the February holidays.

Day Camps will run from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th with supervised drop off possible from 9:00, camp finishing at 15:00, and you can choose which days you do, so your child could do 1,2, or even 3 or more days. In Geneva last day of camp is Thursday.

To secure place book via the Book Online section on the website which closes at 18:00 the day before each day. For those who miss the deadline, don’t worry, you can still pay pitchside for a slightly higher price. Whether beginnner or club player there is space for everyone on the courses.

12/01/2010 - Indoor Saturday Soccer – Places available

Indoor Saturday Soccer starts on 9 January for 5 to 12 year olds and places are still available via the book online until 22 January. After this please email steve@intersoccer.ch if you still wish to join.

For 5 to 7 year olds there is Fun Footy where children will be taught skills/techniques, fun games plus the chance to play in matches.

For 8 to 12s there will be the opportunity to play matches/tournaments every Saturday morning. Coaching takes place in the well equipped old indoor gym at La Chataigneraie International School, Founex.

12/01/2010 - Winter AfterSchool Courses – Still possible to Book!

For this Winter term there are lots of indoor and outdoor after school courses, there are still places available for boys and girls of all abilities from 3 to 13 years. Courses run in Geneva, Versoix, Founex, Gland, Vevey, Zurich, Winterthur & Zug until February and March.

In most regions book online has closed (see each course for details or check the book online) however if you have missed the start of the course its still possible to join. If interested in a course where book online is closed please email steve@intersoccer.ch stating course you are interested in and in which region.
